on tuesday cubs fan keith hartley reached over a railing and snagged the ball and he snagged it bareding his 7-month-old in his other hand. he got a standing ovation but others say he put the baby at risk. now he tells the story in his own words. >> reporter: last-minute free tickets to the cubs game on tuesday meant no babysitter available for 7-month-old isaac so keith hartley took his wife, son, and two clients to the game but had no idea his tickets were row a, the front row. >> i had my two buddies to the wife and my wife carrie and isaac so we could protect if the ball came this way. the whole time i'm looking at the ball and i don't see adrian gonzalez coming for the ball until the last second and there he is. i've been asked what was i thinking. i didn't have four minutes to decide my options. one, two, three seconds, it's in my hands. >> knowing that the ball was headed for isaac, i didn't want it to hit him or bounce off of something and hit him and i totally trust my husband. i knew he'd have a good grip on isaac. >> reporter: for people who say he put his baby in harm's w
