good evening, i'm erin coleman. >> and i'm keith jones.by's defense team has been picking away at cell phone calls made to cosby after the alleged assault. her attorneys did speak outside the courthouse. >> reporter: she can't speak publicly about the case. but her lawyers can and they are angry at the defense for keeping their quiet on the stand for a second day and trying to discredit her story. >> the civil lawyer is sarcastic outside of kourlt today. she's been in the courtroom days listening to the prosecution's case and the defense angle on the events that allegedly happened. on the second day, andrea constand on the weekend stand said lawyers were picking away at cell phone conversations she had with cosby in the days and weeks after he drugged her and sexually assaulted her. constand was the director of operations for bwomen's basketball at temple university. cosby a major alumni. defense lawyers spent forur hous looking at cell phone records. her cell phone was part of the records and that's where they communicated dozens of times

. >> keith jones in our breaking news center with their decision. what does all of this mean? >> it means a big win for president trump just as the supreme court heads into a summer break. today's unanimous ruling will allow the trump administration to enforce the 90-day ban on travelers from six muslim majority countries. those are iran, libya, somalia, sedan, yemen. the decision overturned orders from lower courts that blocked it. it does protect immigrants who have a credible claim. the trump administration says it needs the ban to review screening process from visa applications from those countries. president trump issued a statement today praising the ruling calling it a, quote, clear victory for our national security. as president i cannot allow people into our country who want to do us harm. he added today's ruling allows me to use an important tool for protecting our nation's homeland. president trump has said the ban would take effect 72 hours after it gets clearance from the court. the justices will hear arguments when they come back in october. keith jones, nbc 10 n

. >> and i'm keith jones. new developments keep oncoming after this morning's shooting on congress on a baseball field outside of washington, d.c. here's what we know right now. congressman scalise is in critical condition after surgery. he's a house republican leader tr louisiana. he was among five people shot when a man with a rifle opened fire. it happened as republican members of congress practiced for a charity baseball game in alexandr alexandria, virginia. two capitol hill police officers were among the wounded. the gunman is dead after he was shot by police. the shooter was 66-year-old james hodgkinson of illinois. he declared himself a member of a group called terminate the republican party. hodge kkinson frequently ro wro to his local paper where he rallied against income inequality. authorities were at his home last month after he was firing a rifle behind his house. we have obtained video taken by a man walking his dog at the scene of the shooting. here's some of that video. >> hey s that guy okay
