welcome to "the kelly file." i'm megyn kelly. we have had a week of huge headlines on the health care roll out. dramatic hearings on the still not working website. a string of material broke withen promises from the president himself. as millions of americans find themselves kiiked off of the health care b plans they very much liked which he promised repeatedly they could keep. last night, a dramatic document leak revealing the numbers the administration did not want to share. just six sign-ups on day one of obama care. we have new details on that tonight. with a growing number of democratic lawmakers now starting to worry b about their political futures we brought you the poll that showed the president's numbers falling. we begin the broadcast with a story at politico getting attention suggesting all the problems are the product of gop sabotage. here is a little of democrats giving voice to the idea this week. >> this continuous effort on the part of the gop to sabotage the aca, to scare people and bring up red herrings. >> they

i'm megyn kelly. welcome. this is the kelly file. capping off a difficult week for the president's health care law, a dark milestone. more than 4.8 million, nearly 5 million americans nationwide have been kicked off of their plans. the cancellations in pennsylvania alone jumping from 40,000 to 215,000. now a new gallup poll shows just over 20% of the uninsured have even tried to go on the health insurance exchange and get insurance since october 1. just 20%. not even. that's of the uninsured. almost 80% of the uninsured either don't care or haven't tried. apparently deciding it is better the to pay the fine or the system is too messed up to bother trying to get on the website. mark thi ergsessen joins us. who can blame them, marc? >> it's a mess. you're right. >> let's talk about the poll numbers. so few people -- these are the uninsured people. not like, okay, only 20% of americans have tried to go on health care.gov. these are people the law was meant to help. >> exactly right. 78% of them aren't interested in it. worse than that,

welcome to "the kelly file." i'm megyn kelly. we are now just three days away from the obama administration's self-imposed deadline to fix the website millions need to use in the next two weeks or they might not have insurance come january 1. many of those folks had insurance before the law, but it was cancelled as a result of it. tonight a growing number of signs that the obama administration has real fears the site could crash and burn again. it went out for an hour, just on monday. this morning, fox news confirmed that the administration is telling supporters they should not rush to visit health care.gov in the coming days. isn't that the purpose? they need all the people to sign up. but the message is don't go. not many of you anyway. there are still concerns about how much the site can handle. that's a real problem for the millions of americans who have seen their insurance policies cancelled and must sign up for coverage. must sign up by december 23 in order for them and their families to have coverage in the new year. 5,50
