welcome kelly anne cicalese. kelly: it was a really active night as many of us got woken up issues a major issue. we saw nearly 5 inches of rainfall for areas of worcester county. now we're going to the forecast this morning. you're kicking off saturday with fog out there. rain not as much of a concern, but we move toward your afternoon and evening and wind advisories have already been issued as we're seeing a wind advisory in effect for the entire state of massachusetts, rhode island and connecticut with wind gusts between 40 and 50 miles per hour possible. there's the lightning of last night. that pushed off to the east. tracking is a nice low and the shower activity for this morning until the next round of showers pushes in. that's moving in from the south and west later this afternoon and through this evening as well. and these showers will bring our not only next chance of rain but strong and gusty winds and a big cooldown as we head into the forecast tonight. we'll have a look at that, because you'll be shoc

we're welcoming our newest member of stormteam 5, kelly ann cicalese. good morning. kelly ann: thanks. thank you. you know, it is a very blustery start. it's white-knuckle driving as we are seeing wind gusts up to 45 miles an hour especially moving through worcester county. wind advisories are in effect. that's the big impact for today. it's the showers of last night exiting our area. our satellite/radar imagery showing clouds lingering about but a lot of rain pushing to the moving to the southcoast and cape, there's cool drizzle in place. outside of that, things are drying out. very cool start, though. woe are seeing 40's through much of our region. feeling like the 30's because of that strong wind in place. this is all wrapping in behind that system that pushed through for us yesterday. this same system bringing some snowfall as woe move into northern vermont and new hampshire as well. no snow locally, but we definitely are feeling that cool air. that will stay in place through the start of next week as well. winds a big factor. wind gusts up to 43 miles an hour in
