we're joined tonight by w channel meteorologist kelly cass. >> this is the last thing we need in the northeast, and remember all those protective dunes have been washed away by sandy so obviously we have some store fronts and residential areas that could be hit with another storm. we'll be dealing with a lot of rain and very windy conditions. it's going to start off on the southeast coast, affecting basically election day. that nor'easter co-moves up the coast, very strong winds traveling up the northeast and those winds will be sustained between 25 and 30 miles an hour, but gusting as high as 50 miles an hour. we could be looking at two to three inches of rainfall. coastal flooding is a huge concern. right now it looks like ohio will be clear, back to you, lester. >> kelly, thank you and we're back in a moment with some of the other day's news. >>> we're back now with some of the day's other news. in pittsburgh, a boy was killed when he fell about 14 feet into an enclosure at a zoo and was mauled by a pack of wild dogs. zoo officials entered the enclosure and used tranquilizer darts

i'm meteorologist kelly cass. we'll look at your forecast as we get the weekend started.like across half of the count with warming temperatures. we have a strong system a cold front moving across the plains along with our winter storm from northern montana all the way down into colorado. the mountains of new mexico as well we have winter storm warnings in effect. we're talking one to two feet of snow in some locations, especially for some of the ski resorts in colorado. there's a look at the temperatures. i mentioned how warm it's going to be out ahead of that front. you'll see 70 in louisville, mid 60s in washington, d.c., 70s in atlanta and dallas. here comes the bitter cold air behind the front. we're looking at 19 for a high in billings, montana. now as we head towards sunday here comes the cold front bringing that chance for some strong thunderstorms. can't rule out the possibility of tornadoes. but for the most part it will be damaging winds, possibly some large hail and frequent lightning in dallas, tulsa, little rock towards kansas city and st. louis and knocking
