. >> reporter: dave, we are across the street from kelly park where you can see behind this chain link fence they have ripped through here so they could go down near the creek. there has been no trespassing signs that we have seen all along here. but this encampment camp we were told to stay away from it. because of the hostility we might face. the homeless people living here have made it a point to hide themselves from the public. city officials have been eyeing this encampment for several months. they cleared it out last october. removing 50 tons of trash and debris. now the city estimates 125-175 people have moved back in setting up structures near the creek. they described the camp as being heavily entrenched. some people are actually driving down access roads and leaving their cars near their camp. a project manager from the housing department says a cleanup crew aloss with police and animal control will start showing up here at 8:30 a.m.. the cleanup begins at 9:00. coming up in the next half hour of the morning news. we will tell you about some of the deterrents. reporting live
