kelly wright is live in washington with more. what is the ryan plan? >> it will be introduced tomorrow. president obama continues to reach out in order to find common ground to reduce the nation's deficit. he hosted dinner with a dozen republicans last week and added much to congressman paul ryan chairman of the budget committee. he found the conversation with the president encouraging but is waiting to see what the president will do in the coming weeks. >> will he resume the campaign? will he resume republicans for the motives will he resume what is long believed to be a plan to win the 2014 elections or will he sincerely change in trying to find common ground trying to work with republicans to get something done. that's what we hope happens. >> what paul ryan says hoping for is to give american people a balanced bundle et paving the way for a growing economy which will present jobs. he is looking for a new plan to seek the balance the budget in ten years by trimming it $5 trillion. it is time for common ground and compromise as well. some acknowledgi

kelly wright has details. >>> good morning patti ann. paul ryan the chairman of the house committee says the budget process is washington is broken. house republicans will unveil a budget plan that ryan believes will change the course. in an op ed article in today's wall street journal ryan says it will reinvigorate the economy and reignite the american dream putting people back to work and earning higher wages. the path to get there is to cut spending and the uphill battle repeal obama care. >>> the president has us on a path that brings us to a recession that gives us a european type of experience which we want people to avoid we want higher wages a growing economy. we get that by growing the budget. >> jay carney talked about the president's focus to work with congress now. >> our focus now is working with congress in regular order on the budget process, and through that process hopefully produce a bipartisan agreement on deficit reduction. >> as ryan writes in his op ed article isn't important how we found the budget it's why. a budg

bill: with that as a baseline kelly wright live at the white house this morning a lot of talk about a that being revived, kelly? >> reporter: seems to be the case right now, bill, but reality while people are hoping for it including house speaker john boehner he is not very optimistic at all that democrats and republicans can achieve a grand bargain on the nation's budget deal. having said that, you will recall that the president did launch a major charm offensive, reaching out to republicans and democrats to find some common ground, in getting america's fiscal house in order. but some republicans remain skeptical about the president's sincerity. congressman paul ryan, who we just heard from, expressed doubts that the president's recent comment that the america is not in an immediate debt crisis. ryan contends america is teetering on the edge of a crisis and it will have serious repercussions. >> you know who gets first hurt in the debt crisis, the poor and elderly. that is what we're trying to prevent from happening. pro-growth economic policies to get people working to bring in more
