and what we do is is we collaborate with ken blackwell and you will hear from the attorneys general and others. we travel around the country to talk about these big issues. the thing that keeps me up at night right now is this issue of vote harvesting that happened under mark zuckerberg the facebook billionaire spent $419 million on trying to go into the swing states to prime the pump and a lot of this was legal. that's part of problem. this is legal. he went in. they tried to get democratic voters in key areas places where they knew they could dredge up democrat votes and the good news is we cracked down on zuckerberg. there were states all around the country. i think ron desantis in florida was one of the first to finally call zuckerbucks illegal. we have built stop zuckerbucks with -- we are making progress and thanks to afpi, ken blackwell and the attorney general and sitting here we are able to make progress. but this is what worries me. after all that has been done president biden signed an executive order taking 1 billion in taxpayer money, not the private money from mark zuckerb

i'm pam moore and i'm ken wayne. this comes as us now officially leads the world in the number of monkeypox cases. >> there are now more than 3800 confirmed cases in the u.s. tonight. the biden administration is considering whether to declare a public health emergency. the president is also considering whether or not to name a white houses are to coordinate a response to the disease. last week the world health organization declared the monkeypox outbreak to be a public health emergency. >> here's a look at the monkeypox cases in the bay area. all 9 counties have reported cases. napa county confirmed its first case yesterday. san francisco county reported 7 new cases. that brings the total case count in the city to 200. and 22 alameda county has 50 santa clara county reported. 39. there are 3 in contra costa county, san mateo county has 8 cases. sonoma county has 7 solano has 6 and moran has 2 cases. again, one in napa with san francisco having one of the highest case loads of monkeypox in the nation. senator scott wi

their pam and ken, back to you. grant. thank you. here in the bay area, san francisco police had their hands full after a number of shootings occurred around the city last night. >> the first one took place on market and powell streets where street or was shot. she dismissed a knife, non-life-threatening injuries. the vehicle took off after the shooting. police continue to look for the suspect. the second shooting happened in the bayview neighborhood on in those treated underwood avenue where a 14 year-old girl was shot while she was watching the fireworks. she also is expected to be ok, the 3rd shooting took place. and in the 200 block of ridge street after an employee confronted a suspect who entered a business there, the suspect shot the employee and fled the scene. the store employee suffering non-life-threatening injuries. san francisco police are asking anyone with information on any of the shootings to please give them a call. 12 san francisco police officers were injured after they were trying to break up a rowdy crowd early

let's bring in ken belkin with more on this. ken, of the cases you've covered, you have seen the scene here. give me an idea of what you think is happening when you hear that certain areas of high pressure, specifically right around that shooting, are on lockdown. people being told to shelter in place. and then other parts of the city really people are free to go and the perimeter seems to be tightening a bit. does that indicate anything to you? >> well, it's like a net. they're closing in on the assailant. that's what it appears to be anyway. you know, there's been an incredible mobilization of the state and the federal level here. resources are being deployed that are exponential, that i think will solve this in short time. we'll have this person in custody i'd say within 24 hours. >> trace: when, stand by. i want to bring in james craig, former detroit police chief here. i'm not sure if you heard what mr. belkin was saying. that they have something that they're looking at. what do you think that is a fair assessment? >> absol
