ken bastida. he's been home for a few days -- and has been monitoring himself the whole time... kpix five's ann notarangelo joins us live in palo alto -- ann, now the state is getting involved... dr. colin bucks his home alone these days. his wife and his dog have moved out and he says he's not taking any chances. he still shows no signs of having ebola. graphic of doc but the doctor who returend last week from liberia is following california's new 21 day quarantine. this is brand new... when he got home there were no guidelines, so he, the san mateo county health system and stanford came up with their own. stay away from work, and close contact with people for three weeks. he takes his temerature every day and checks in wtih the san mateo county health officials twice a day. so he's always been monitored but the quarantine is new. he spoke with kpix 5 this afternoon and says he's keeping busy. "my work day is starting early in the morning and ends when my phone runs out of batteries. i'm about to get on a conference call in a few minutes." more video --- he spent a little over a month in liberia with the international medical corps, working directly with ebola patients. here's doctor bucks i
