ken bastida. we start with breaking news. >>> that fast-moving wildfire that's burning in napa county near lake berryessa, it is threatening forcing evacuations. >> allen martin has the "wragge fire" that's getting bigger by the minute. allen. >> reporter: it is. at least 700 acres are burning in the "wragg fire." hopes building in the mix canyon area of solano county are now threatened but the fire has moved into yolo county. the crash started near highway 128 and wragg canyon road at the southern end of the lake. the southern end of the lake is where the dam is, lake berryessa damage. there's a good shot from chopper 5 to show you how this fire is funneling down into the canyon. now, they have evacuated some people in the cold canyon area. the canyon creek campground is off to the right of your picture there. it's down below the dam. i have been fly fishing in this area because below the dam is puda creek. there's highway 128 basically parallelling the creek there but three hikers

>> reporter: ken, the fire is still raging, 3500 acres and only 5% contained. it has burned at least five homes in a rural community north of san bernardino and it is a mess. look at the aftermath on i-15. the highway is still closed as a massive cleanup operation is underway. just a few hours ago, those were cars driving thrown the interstate. it started out as a grass fire but it kept growing and growing. 80 people driving along i-15 decided to abandon their cars and trucks leaving them right there on the freeway. >> at first we thought it would be taking out. but it got closer and closer. >> so you did what? >> got out and started running up the hill. >> the fire kept growing. >> reporter: it jumped the freeway and we saw this dramatic scene unfold. flames began to consume vehicles. the fire ripped through a couple of big rigs, just burned them to the ground. dozens of cars suffered the same fate. traffic backed up miles on the highway from southern california to las vegas. >> this should be coming right there. >> reporter: firefighters dropped retardant, but the fire cha

ken, what's the biggest surprise when it comes to those numbers? >> i think for me it was the burn $131 million. that's about 50% more than the candidates raised at this point in 2012. that is, the candidates running for president then. but they spent $48 million of that. that's about 100% more than the candidates in the field spent in 2012. it really shows that to run a presidential campaign right now, you have to get out of the gate quick, you have to staff up. hillary clinton spent $6 million on staff. that's more than any of the republican candidates spent total. you have to open offices, buy data. kind of like a start-up. and it's both much larger the burn rate because there are so many more candidates in the field but also because of the new political reality. >> a lot of that going to rents for hillary clinton because she's in brooklyn and new york city, rents they have to shell out. nick when you look at the percentages of small donors here someone who gave $200 or less hillary clinton reported being 17% of her donations, jeb bush's, 3%. how big of a problem is that? that m
