. >> well, joining us now, we have ken donnie from the refinery. ken, are you there? >> i am. >> what exactly is happening here and is the situation getting any better and when do you think all of this will be resolved? >> what i can tell you is that we were informed that there was a power outage in the area affecting about 17,000 people and that we were affected as well by it. what the refinery is experiencing right now is a shutdown of all of the units. as part of that process we are flaring and those flares are a safety mechanism to release the pressure within our units, within the refinery. we have had no safety incidents within the refinery. nobody's been injured in the refinery. we're working with all of the regulatory individuals to make sure the community is safe. so we've issued a community warning system level iii which is informing our surrounding informing to shelter in place. we expect to have the flaring under control within a few hours. but again, it's an emergency situation and we are responding in a safe and reliable manner, being affected by the powe
