chief meteorologist bill martin is tracking the storm. bill? what is ahead? >> ken, rain is a good thing. showers as we move into your bay area weekend. heavy rain over night tonight in the north bay and spreading south tomorrow. here are the totals. half inch of rain in the south bay. inch nfl in the north bay hills and winds, 40 miles per hour and mountains snow. again i say a good then, i know it is saturday but the upshot is, this extra rain will help the rev wars of northern california. there is the rainfall accumulations. the system, here it is. it has a lot of cold air with it. the cell. snow levels get down into the -- evening hours tomorrow. so we could see snow on bay area peaks in the north bay. but theioid being the system moves in -- the idea being the system moves in tomorrow. there will be holes in the weekend where -- saturday, where you will be able to do what you want to do. when i come back, the time line and another storm behind it. back here after the break. >>> a claf lawmaker on the wrong side of the -- california lawmaker on the wrong side of
