just want to note, i mean, we talk about this in the book about the attorney general of texas, ken paxton. he filed a lawsuit in the united states supreme court in december of 2020 under their original jurisdiction and for people don't know what that means that means that the united states supreme court will sit as a trial court in a case between the states and what texas and other republican attorney generals said was, we don't like the election rules. in other states. and so we're going to challenge those election rules and those other states. just think how one conservative or anti-federal list that idea is and imagine what those same republican attorneys general would have said if the attorneys of california, illinois, in massachusetts had tried to do the same thing in 2016. and remember, this is also over a month after the election that they already knew the rules about and the words you use in the are that our nation has been sick before, but has healed. we've been through a lot of tumult in our history. the vietnam war, slavery. we've had much closer elections, the strife of the 19
