good evening i'm ken wayne. frank somerville is off tonight. >> and i'm julie haener. an amber alert just went into effect tonight for a 7-year-old girl missing from antioch. police say they're investigating reports the girl was abducted from in front of her home around 7:00 tonight. debora villalon is live from outside the home. >> reporter: antioch police released this photo of 7-year- old natalie calvo kidnapped by a stranger from in front of his house here on humming bird lane just before 8:00 as she arrived home with her mother. now natalie had just gotten out of the car when police say an armed man grabbed her. >> the mother attempted to stop the male from abducting her daughter. and when she approached him, the male produced what's been described as a rifle. and the mom stopped, he was able to force the child into the car and then fled the scene. >> reporter: it's believed the mom and daughter were followed tonight from the antioch wal- mart store. that's how the kidnapper targeted them. natalie's mom is at wal-mart looking at surveillance video in hopes of iden
