kendra: that is a great question. it is hard for everyone in the labor force.ber of jobs down so significantly, yet more jobseekers coming onto the market, it is externally competitive for jobseekers in every industry and every age group or education background. while in some industries there might be some pockets of growth, really it has been quite challenging across the board. what more do you expect or think of the government in terms of the policy side should do to encourage a rejuvenation and retainment of the jobs that far?'t been lost so kendra: in australia, we have the job seeker program which aims to help businesses hold onto their staff as long as they can. we certainly have seen that have an impact. i think that is likely to be quite a successful program in terms of keeping jobs open. a lot depends on the timing of how the health situation goes and how the economic restrictions open up or don't open up. what we hear from job advertisers is they are cautious to make investments right now and they won't start hiring until they see a stronger light at

kendra, good morning to you.ill be fewer, 11,000 fewer deaths, rather, in european countries because of the drop in fossil fuel pollution. what's the connect there? >> right. so when we drive cars, when we take airplanes, it releases a kind of pollution called pm-25 pollution. we think of it as smog. because we're not driving, we're not emitting smog. that's making it easier for people to breathe. i would hesitate to call it a win for the environment, because as we know, lots of people are dying. many species, especially in cities. depend on humans for food. so a lot of species are struggling. so it's kind of a nuanced balance. >> i'm not sure if i'm happy about that or not. the overall lack of pollution, though, how much is it really helping the environment overall? >> well, it's less a question of how much is it helping the environment versus how much is it helping people. it's helping people tremendously because one of the things we know, a factor in getting the worse variance of covid-19 is air pollution. if
