here to talk more about that tom nolan, ceo of kendra scott jewelry. familiar face to those who watch shark tank. >> that's right. she's on "shark tank's" third season now. >> the company started in 2022. we're in our second year, which is crazy. >> an age where we're talking about the declining brick and mortar stores, it's not just spirit halloween opening this time of year. >> we are an experiential brand, retail makes up half of our business. we have had so much success and growth. we did 20,000 events in our stores, 142 stores now, doing upwards of 25,000 events. the experience is important. customers are looking for it, and we like to give it to them. >> what do you mean by experience? i haven't experienced this myself. >> yeah, anytime you go into a retail store, you're looking for something, obviously, and we've been rooted in events from the very beginning, and the large majority of those events are philanthropic by nature. in the local communities, we want to be part of the community. the events draw people in the store to draw people in need
