we have tornado watches in effect for southern ohio, parts of kenneth moton, west -- kentucky, west virginia. you can see how this is whole continuing to push down to the south and the east. that same system spawned 16 tornadoes in illinois last night. i'm just trucking some dark tracking some pop-up activity. not everyone is going to see it. but you can see we do have one batch of heavy downpours approaching flornt just to the south of trnd right now. another one near writestown. maybe a brief thunderstorm this evening but not getting what they're seeing down in virginia and across the midwest. we do need the rain, though. the drought monitor, this is short-term impact showing that the lehigh valley and central pennsylvania is abnormally dry. new york, parts of new england now in a moderate short-term drought. so we really could use some steady rain, but doesn't look like we'll be seeing any of that in the foreseeable future. temperatures right now, warm, typically warm. 84 degrees in philadelphia. 84, the normal high for this time of the year. atlantic city airport, 84. wilmington, 83. and
