good afternoon, i'm kenny choi. >> i'm michelle griego. we have live team coverage. first kpix 5's maria medina is live at lexington reservoir. maria? >> reporter: michelle, well, it is certainly gusty out here. it really isn't raining but the reservoir is filled to capacity. in pacifica this morning we saw it all. pacifica took a pounding as today's storm rolled into the bay area. some who live on this part of the coast say the storms this winter more powerful than in recent years. >> this winter seems a little rougher. i went through 7 years. >> while the rain eventually moved out of the area though morning, the wind never stopped. it's been raining heavily since we got here in pacifica. about 15 or 20 minutes ago, there's my umbrella -- again for the live shot. >> reporter: those were the conditions for the 5 a.m. live shot for the morning show, heavy rain and strong gusts. >> it's winter, yeah. that means it's just like it used to be. >> reporter: marina lived here for nearly three decades and says the beating the coastline is taking is history repeating it self.
