and kentd taylor with prime news affiliate wave. kent, let's start with you. you're on the ground there. let's go back six years. what do we know about that night, beyond what i've said? >> i'm right here outside the u of l basketball facility here in louisville. i believe the coach pitino is inside. we know back in 2003, at a restaurant, a restaurant owned by tim curry, a friend of rick pitino, he's known to frequent the restaurant. it's about a mile and a half from his house. according to the police report, rick pitino got the keys from tim curry, when he left, no one else was in the restaurant, so the restaurant was not open at this time. then he and karen cipher engaged in sexual -- in a sexual act there. vinnie tatum, another coach was also there at the time in the restaurant. he said he did not hear anything that appeared to him to be a rape. she claimed -- she didn't claim it was rape until six years later. after that, she says that he then got in the car and she gave him a ride home. this is after she said he randy her. she claims there was another sex

kent island high school today after 12 football players and one coach were transported to hospitals suffering from symptoms related to heat exhaustion. >> they said it was an emergency so we had to leave. >> reporter: john taylor was running track on the field. >> the football coaches were running back frantically not knowing what to do. and a couple minutes later, they were getting on stretchers and getting lifted out and taken out in ambulances. >> reporter: players that weren't transported remained under observation inside the school. ma'am, can you talk to us? channel 9. parents chose not to speak with us. some even hid. but one mother tells a harrowing tail. >> last year my son did have to go to the hospital for heat exhaustion. >> reporter: from a practice like this? >> yes. from football practice. >> reporter: and was he the only one that had to go last year? >> as a matter of fact, there were maybe three other kids. >> reporter: and she had advice for the coaching staff. >> when it's very hot, the coaches need to take into consideration there's a lot of kids and they need to make sure that they have water and they can take their breaks as they need so they can have a -- to be okay. >> reporter: on kent
