it slipped by but we're talking areas like napa as well as san rafael and kentfield, all setting recordsn the upper 70s. oakland 78 yesterday breaking a record. 73 in and around the airport. mid-70s in richmond. san jose tied a record at 71. so for today the ridge of high pressure is breaking down, we have systems that will ride through the pacific northwest not bringing rain but bringing high clouds you may have outside your door. the fog is back, the onshore breezes a little stronger. and because of it again our temperatures will be not quite as warm as we get into the afternoon. i want to speed you up into thursday and then i'll bring you back to today. as we get into thursday morning notice the rain line moving now a little closer to the bay area. by thursday night we'll have the possibility of scattered showers arriving. it looks like friday could be a wet day. that rain line begins to move a little farther south and we're hoping that it comes all the way down into monterey, at the least. as we get into saturday morning we continue with that possibility of wet weather. so right now
