it was 73 in san jose 70 in kentfield.eant to say was three days in a row of record warmth. and then we go into this, this pattern, which is look at that thing. that's a beast, right? it's a big system. i checked into the middle. the neat thing about ocean buoys is you can get out in the ocean, right? and they're anchored there and they pick up waves and wind and whatever you and i'm picking up some winds up to 57 miles an hour offshore just in this area here and then up around cape mendocino right here, my friends up in point arena. i know you guys watch up there and they're going to get they're already having winds up to 40, 45 miles an hour up in the hill behind the cove there. so the winds are coming. we're going to see at the hot spot for this storm is going to be between i know it's late this things slowed down a bunch. this is 4 p.m. tomorrow and then 7 p.m. so that three hour period right now between 4 and 7, looks like it's going to be pretty, pretty hot. like things are going to go down like some real heavy rain.

kentfield 48/100. palo alto and san francisco co, both with 44/100. this is right on the san ramon dublin boulevard 0.62 hayward 57 100. fremont was closed at 56 mill valley at a half inch of rain. pacifica, just shy of a half inch of rain. redwood city 46 100, sunnyvale, at 43 and san jose picked up 29 100. that was the band that was started in marin county and then lit up, kept going along the 880 corridor of the peninsula and made it into the santa clara valley. now here comes another band. so that was the one for about two hours ago. here comes the next one. does not look as intense, but boy, i'll tell you, they they developed fast here in this pattern here. so one system moves out towards the santa clara valley, the next one moving in will give us some rain. i do think though, the heaviest rain was, was what? that main cell that went by about an hour, hour and a half ago, which is now down towards santa clara valley. but maybe another 10th to a quarter or a half inch should cover it. we'll have rain off and on today. uh, look at this system tappi

areas north mendocino county, lake county i think also mount tamalpais area, woodacre, mill valley, kentfield in there as well. and eventually we'll get down to the santa cruz mountains. the system on sunday into monday actually looks more impressive to me for the santa cruz mountains, but we'll get to that once we get closer to it. now. snow totals won't be that great initially, but they look eye popping as we go forward over the next 6 to 10 days or so, and we'll have some off and on rain. another big system on sunday. i think combination of this and off and on rain taking us into friday, probably a break. saturday is the way it's looking for the next system comes in sunday. we'll keep the beat going here. so the rain, the good news with this system though, it is progressive. it is moving. it does not look like it will stall down. so it'll blast through from northwest to southeast. but there's so much moisture there. there will be some continuous rain for a while. then we'll see the cold air come in that will be off and on rain. now watch what happens as this low comes down. saturday night

uh usually kentfield hayward mill valley, san francisco, oakland, santa rosa, napa and san jose.3 100 to 79 100. who was the leader of the pack? mount tamalpais had over two inches of rain. fog is an issue for some petaluma napa airport, novato, santa rosa, maybe a little bit out towards livermore, stockton, tracy. but so far the most reduced visibility by far has been to the north, a lot cooler this morning. low 40s for some, a lot more 40s and 50s, that's for sure. 30 both truckee, south lake tahoe, so not really that cold. we get a break today. clouds will start to roll in tomorrow, but everything is saying that that system, which is impressive, is on its way to the pacific northwest. the jet stream is taking a track more towards pacific northwest. there will be some light rain, probably about santa rosa north on saturday, but we'll get a lot of cloud cover. but we'll get a break all the way until about next wednesday, when it looks like the pattern changes big time here, so stay tuned. six days away so lot can change, but it does look like an active pattern. full moon morning

san rafael of san rafael gets 106 kentfield. that's an inch and a half. easy.t's two plus for mount tamalpais. napa 1.71. that's a little shocker there. but anyway, you look at it, there's going to be some pretty good rain. the areas that have the upslope, that's the coastal hills. you take this deep moisture, you ramp it up. and what you need is not only the upper level jet stream, but the low level jet stream. by that i mean 5000ft. you take that moisture, you lift it, you cool it, condense it. you can get some hefty totals in a short period of time. and that's why i'm still think the santa cruz mountains around mount tamalpais will probably get the most, uh, amounts have been cut back. they've been ramped up. they've been cut back. i think they'll ramp up again if you're going to the mountains here. uh, that is more about fog today. and wind. snow will be a factor tomorrow, but maybe some eight inch amounts, maybe 6 to 8. but after everything is said and done here for some of the, you know, areas that we've mentioned. but for the mountains, i mean, you're lo
