commissioner mar >> have we heard anything from councilmember kersey office i heard hesitate working r with legislation about the tic. we received a notification for a march 13 update hearing with the boards government audits and oversight committee we briefed on our response to the civil grand jury report last year. there were two findings where we are to engage a consultant looking at the bp r implementation program and that consultant to come up with a timeline with fixed dates. we have received this past week the personnel services contract that we need to move ahead we're seeking 3 bids and hope to get that consultant on board so by the time of this march update we'll have concrete results to give to the board members. when the new board was installed in january there is a change in the chairman chp so supervisor breed is the chair of that committee rather than supervisor cowen and supervisor david chiu respected championships. and we'll be talking to those folks in the next month to inform them of what we're doing >> i'd like to recognize commissioner melgar when has joined us.

men and women that behind me who have addressed a series of headaches i know within councilmember kersey district. in recent years we've seen a wild, wild west open our streets this is a way to bring order to our city and asking companies to pay a fair share. the fact is the men and women behind us have been thinking intellectually and based on facts what rules we need to make sure we're minimizing congestion on our streets and folks not to have to travel in private cars or be in vehicles where a multiple people are and our roads are are properly maintained. i want to thank all the companies with working with our sfmta and the mayor to get it right. we're going to get it right and that work will help us to grow as a 21st century. it's fitting in this press conventions you have mayor ed lee and other supervisors we will l be asking voters to help are the infrastructure. i want to thank the technology companies and the world leading companies who are helping us and i know they'll be working side to side with us to make sure we're building a transit system for san francisco. so thank you ve

we think now is the time especially with the councilmember kersey new expanded e ic now is the time to take into account that on a serious level >> thank you (calling names). >> good evening i'm with the harvey milk club. i'm going to let tom talk about the specifics. as you all know the milk club has been concerned with the entertainment and night life and how they effect the characteristic of the city. i hear about large promoters very appreciative in ms. holiday made a good point they've worked well, with the station and it's been a plus for harvey stricker bluegrass but for events on a shoe string this is a problem. we've been in discussions with united players also the number of police are arbitrary and inxhicht we want to put-down some lodge behind those procedures. i know that smaller events are forced to leave the city it's not tied into 10 b but 9 book fair that was held inside the fair building for at least 10 years has had to move to oakland because the recreation and parks are issuing recks. and i urge you to consider 10 b in terms of making that a reasonable and logistical

it's not that you want to become kersey with congress, but when we are on a roll, it does help. the history of public domain from all the different bills and people who have attempted that, i remember we were in the minority. it's great to be in the minority, but not for too long. i'm sorry, mr. cummings to bring that out. when you're there you can do productive things. we produced a federal report the government to stop sitting on its asset. we outline all the public, amtrak, incredible asset to the federal government has. the problem is you don't get unified support from out they are with some of these groups to go after these targeted things. why you heard a lot of how we need to court mate with the senate, pick priorities, it would be good for your groups to coalesce and get behind some of these items. it would again enhance our efforts. when we do things like consolidating program, the transportation bill consolidated between 20 and 30 programs. another bureaucrat or running around trying to justify their existence. we eliminated or consolidated, but nobody is focusing on t
