[applause] >> welcome to the nation's capital. you know, here as a person who has been a part of the problem. i wasn't watching what my government was doing. but now i'm part of the solution. thank you all for being here. i want to tell you a little personal story. i was in a meeting a few months ago while the budget cuts were going on and some of the representatives who were here today came to speak to us and they were -- they looked like they were really beaten up. so i just can't imagine all of these great people what they have to do just to do the right thing, just to save the country to make cuts in a budget that is so large, so onerous, we have to do is give them help. we have to elect more people like the ones in the freshman class. [applause] we have to take back the senate and in 2012, the presidency. that's the only way we are going to save our country. so we can do it. we are only for 2-years-old we need a lot of progress and we have a long way to go but we are all resolved that we are going to do this. thank you very m
