our first speaker, congressman kevin brady is one of the first reporters in washington. that in addition to serving as vice chairman, mr. brane brady is the g.o.p. deputy whip and a senior member of the ways and means committee. more importantly to me, as rpt of the urban baseball foundation, i can say mr. brady is also a former m.v.p. of the congressional baseball game. he plays a mean second base, and surprises us every year that a person of his advanced age could be so competent on the ball field still. so we're delighted to have mr. brady here to discuss his new role on the federal reserve, and as soon as he's done we'll assemble the panel. mr. brady.
