kevin madden is here, cnn political commentator and republican strategist.om fuentes, former fbi assistant director and law enforcement analyst and justice reporter laura jarrett. tom, let me begin with you since you were former director of the fbi. the white house this morning as you just heard there is saying the president knows things that others don't. that's true to an extent. wouldn't others be privy to this information, any wiretap information that the president says he has without providing any evidence of that at all? >> poppy, i was former assistant director at the bureau. a fisa wire is very close hold in the government. there would be a handful of fbi agents and only the fbi is authorized to do a fisa wiretap, and then those affidavits with department of justice attorneys from the national security division present that to the visa court. again, this is all top secret, very close hold. so a number of officials at the white house and other places would not be aware of the fisa. however, the director of the fbi absolutely would be. >> and the direc
