let's bring in kevin sheridan and g.o.p. strategist and former spokesman for paul ryan. l meehan president of square communications and former chief of staff for senator maria cantwell. kevin, let me start with you. the white house press secretary started with talking about the senate and a broken system as she said. that the nominations have been stalled so much that even some democrats are starting to say we have got to stop holding these people hostage and in particular sarah sanders mentioned ric grenell who has been nominated for ambassador to germany. the white house looks like it's going to ratchet up pressure on the senate on that issue. >> as they should. and ric grenell is a great example of that is he a highly qualified candidate who has been nominated for months and months and months now and stopped by chuck schumer's strategy which is very intentional to just slow down every nomination as much as possible. and to not allow president trump to get the people that he needs in place around the world to do the job that the american people. and it's really shameful
