khaldun: there is no question that we are hind desert country. we have always known we were testing enough people. we focused on getting up our capacity. as we expanded capacity, we expended testing criteria. with the memo i sent to health care providers today, any clinician or health department who believes someone, regardless of symptoms, needs to get a test, they can get that. anyone in a population where there has not been enough testing, you can get a test, regardless if you have symptoms. it is important that when we think about these tests, if you test someone who doesn't have symptoms and are at low risk, you are likely to get the false-positive result. the test may say you are positive, when you are not. it is important [inaudible] but there is no question we need to continue to expand testing significantly, and we have been doing that. reporter: do you plan to make an exception for census takers going door-to-door in regions that have not reached phase forget? governor whitmer: we haven't talked about what that looks like at this junctu
