let me back up a moment to where an amber alert was issued. 31-year-old flora khatun, her 6- week-old were missing. police put a lookout for her blue toyota sienna minivan. we started interviewing people, asking about her. and met someone who told us the locations where they believed she was holed up with the baby. we called police immediately. and then went to the location here in hyattsville. ourselves. moments ago, police left the woman's apartment, carrying the baby in their arms, put the baby in a car seat and drove away. the baby looks to be to be in very good condition, wrapped in a pink blanket. a few minutes after that, we saw police apartment behind me in hyattsville. brought out the mother, who was sobbing. i had spoken with her briefly, after the baby was taken away by authorities. she kept screaming and sobbing, saying they took my baby. i don't know why they took my baby. she was truly inconsolable. she never opened the door for us. but then police took her into custody to recap. the 6-week-old baby is okay. her mother is in custody. we became inadvertent players in the
