cbs5's sports reporter kim coyle was also at the game and she said during the fourth quarter there was heavy fighting going on in the stands behind the raiders bench. she said the fighting was so severe some of the players were looking up and seeing some of the fighting going on. we don't know if it was related to the shootings, she said also there was a second fight in the stands tonight and clp officers were apparently in the stadium who went to help break up some of that fighting and rested the one person. a couple of fights were in the stands and two people shot in the parking lot after the game. how much of it is related we don't know. >>> well, a major setback today for the two cal graduates detained in iran for more than two years. three weeks after their trial ended the men have been sentenced. drew levenson on why the pair may spend many more years behind bars. >> reporter: instead of a pardon, the government sentenced them to eight years in prison for illegally entering the country and spying. minnesota senator spoke with bower's mother. the men claimed they were hiking in ir

dennis o'donnell and kim coyle will have highlights of the game coming up on "game day" right after cbs5. >>> well, there are some new questions being raised about the alcohol consumption on cal train. when fans head for at&t park. some 5000 baseball fans ride caltrain too and from games. a document supplied to the examiner, there have been 64 incidents of rowdiness or violence this year and just 18 arrests. cal train is the only transit agency that allows drinking in cars so it is banned after 9 p.m. and while police ride before the games none ride after. >>> a grass fire in solano county is out today. at one point, several dozen homes were threatened but crews got the upper hand late today and had the flames contained by about 7 p.m. there were no reports of injuries or structures damaged. a fire in yosemite national park is still not contained tonight. it was sparked in the merced river canyon by a motor home on fire. about 100 people have been evacuated. right now it is 35% contained. full containment is still several days away. >>> triple digit temperatures are baking southern calif

it is not known at this time whether the shootings are related but i can tell you kim coyle was coveringame and said there were horrific fights in the stands tonight. one behind the 4ers bench violent enough that players were turning around and looking at it kim says there were two other fights in the stands, police officers ran to the area, there was at least one arrest made, but apparently not all the people fighting were arrested. we don't know if those fights related to the shooting, in any way. there was a third, more troubling incident, and that was the beating of a 26-year-old san rafael man in an upper level men's room. he apparently was beaten unconscious and is said to be suffering life threatening injuries. the police say that beating was at the hands of a 25 to 30-year-old man, 225 to 260 pounds with a goatee and curly hair and ponytail. police are asking for the public's help in trying to sort all of this out. two men shot, three fights in the stands and a man in the men's room beaten unconscious so a very rough night at candlestick park. the 4ers issued a statement saying t
