kim dacey is live with the details. good morning. >> 23-year-old anthony cottle is facing five criminal sexual assault charges. he is in a detention center held on bail. 23-year-old anthony cottle is behind bars, accused of assaulting a boy. >> last week one of the victims came to police and said he was abused by this man sometime between may and june of this year. >> police say cottle had been staying at the boy's home. it happened in the wilkens precinct. >> the boy said he witnessed one of his friends being sexually abused by this suspect. >> cottle had been a probationary firefighter since december of last year. he has been suspended without pay. he is also a volunteer firefighter with the landsdowne fire department. we reached out for comment multiple times but our calls will not return. people defended him but did not want to speak on camera. police continue to investigate the allegations against cottle. >> based on what we're hearing from the victim and other people that are being interviewed by our detectives, w

first we want to go to kim dacey. has been covering things in annapolis. >> the rain has slowed to kind of a light drizzle or a shower here. the road behind us is slowed, as well as several other roads in the downtown area because of flooding. indianapolis mayor is joining us live. i know -- of the annapolis mayor is joining us live. what is the status of things here? >> we have about half a dozen trees down, some blocking roads, some on private property. this is one of the main links between east port and downtown and this is closed. if anyone lives in east port or bay ridge, they have to go around. the national guard brought two humvees to help with high tide situations. overall, annapolis got through this pretty well. our big concern moving forward is that we are expecting high tide. the wind is shifting from the south. this is actually going to get a little higher. we are not expecting the surge like we had from isabel that caused some pretty big damage, but the water level is going to stay high throughout the nig

that takes us to kim dacey live in annapolis. how is it going there? the last hour we have seen the rain increase in volume. it is pretty steady now. the wind has also picked up in the last hour. it seems like the outer bands are starting to come onshore. you can see some boats in the water and we were surprised how many are on the water right now. they are just bobbing and flailing kind of in the wind. hopefully they are battened down enough that they won't go flying when the winds pick up later today. again, in the harbor a lot of boats just bobbing around in the wind. as far as flooding, there is a little localized flooding. not too much at this point. down by the harbor there's an area flooded that is low-lying. otherwise driving along the streets of annapolis small areas of puddles and a little bit of water, what you might see in a normal rainstorm. didn't see any roads that were blocked or anything of that sort. officials are looking for a storm surge of one to three feet here. that could change the situation drastically. we will monitor that and
