(jr stone) in san mateo county.icials were forced to shut down the power for two cities. this as firefighters worked to save two victims in a car that crashed into a pole. the incident the incident happened around three this morning on camino al lago in atherton. once at the scene crews found a car pinned against a tree after bouncing off a power pole. live electrical wires were resting on the car...prompting officials to cut off the power in atherton and nearby menlo park. over 34 hundred people were affected by the power outage...however as of tonight all power has been restored. both men were rescued and taken to the hospital...their conditions are unknown.
