i think we had some sense of how kim jong-il, the former leader, operated, but there's a lot that we don't know about the current leader, and his actions, as you noted earlier, have really been ranging, far beyond what we've seen in the past with north korea. i think in the end, he does want all of these western accoutrements of life, whether it's basketball or amusement parks, but he also wants his nuclear weapons and his ballistic missiles.
