the most high profile delegate from north korea is kim yo jong, the younger sis stek of kim jong-un. she arrived on his private plane in south korea. before the opening ceremonies, they had a moment where they greeted each other, shook hands, shook hands again at the event itself. the most significant event that will be happening is tomorrow in seoul at the blue house when president moon hosts the north korean delegation for a welcome lunch. these are not formal talks. if they were formal talks, then the leader of the delegation would be the only person able to speak. because this is a lunch, kim yo jong can sit down with president moon and pass along any informal messages from her brother to the south korean president. several diplomatic sources are telling me that there's a good chance at that lunch she may invite president moon to visit north korea some time this year. that would be significant. it shows kim jong un has sent his sister here to pyeongchang on a diplomatic mission to try to drive a wedge between the united states and seoul. earlier vice president pence was with otto
