i am kimberly suitors.n the news this morning, a police standoff in alexandria has become to a violent end. it began just after 2:00 yesterday afternoon. police were serving an eviction notice when they heard shots inside. after trying to negotiate, police entered the home and found the man dead. he apparently killed himself. the apartment building is near the train tracks, so rail traffic was stopped for about three hours. >>> and then a mpolice officer was hit by a tow truck while trying to make an arrest. he was trying to remove an uncooperative person from a suspicious car, and there was a struggle that spilled into the street and a passing tow truck hit the officer. the person he was trying to arrest is in jail. >>> and then get ready for the crowds today for the cherry blossom festival. the bottleneck around the festival is expected to be a real problem today. the washington national exhibition games against the red sox will draw crowds in the district too, so you will need time to get around ti >>> g
