nbc bay area's kimberly terry is live in san leandro with the latest. kimberly? >> reporter: garvin, you can see traffic is backed up on this street as everyone waits to hear word on when eastbound 580 will reopen. police are investigating a fatal accident as you mentioned. it happened about 4:00 this afternoon. we're being told it may be several hours before 580 reopens completely. authorities say one man, possibly a member of the hell's angel, is dead and another man in custody tonight. police say they are investigating this incident as a homicide. san leandro police say a par arc transit van hit a man on a motorcycle who died from his injuries. the motorcycle, according to police, was dragged about a mile and the van caught fire. some reports indicate there may have been some sort of altercation between the motorcycle rider and the van's driver before the accident. police also say the man on the motorcycle was traveling -- some of the riders had hell's angels vests on. police are looking into whether the man was a member himself. the transit driver has been ta
