jimmy kimmle live will start in seven minutes. developing news out of oakland.olice say 175 protesters affiliated with occupy oakland targeted president obama's campaign office near the fox theater. a large window in the office was smashed through. campaign workers were inside when it happened. that area now roped off. the protesters also broke the windows of several cars in the downtown area. police say the protesters were angry they did not get a permit for tonight's first friday event. that's when dozens of art galleries have what is essentially an open house. thousands were taking part in that event. no arrests and no reports of injuries. >>> oakland police are warning people about answering ads on craigs list, reminding them to be extremely careful. there were a series of armed robberies the past few weeks. people responding to ads for cars and electronics are being held up. police have some advice to keep you safe. >> don't carry large amounts of cash. try to stay away from isolated areas. choose areas that are highly populated like parking lots and grocer
