this is mark kimsey's cruiser on fire. after the impact the officer remembers hearing a voice yelling at him. >> your car is on fire. you need to get out. i have to pull you out of the window. he started to pull me out. i couldn't move my legs. >>reporter:that voice was joseph chambers a volunteer firefighter that jumped into action and helped. dante saw the commotion. he helped him drag the officer to safety. there was a 50-year-old passenger from the pick-up. >> i would be sitting in the car still. i appreciate them being the heros. >>reporter:kimsey was on a priority call with lights and sirens. he has several years of police experience under his belt. they visited kimsey in the hospital. now the two are friends for life. >> i owed him. once i get better i am going to take him for a steak or something. >>reporter:kimsey didn't know that the cruiser went up in flames as intense as they were until he watched it from the hospital bed. he started the paperwork for the civilian heroism citation for both of those men that sav

officer kimsey suffered a leg injury and a concussion.e is expected to make a full recovery. >> we are also hearing from a camden county police officer whose quick thinking and training helped him deliver a baby. sergeant darrell watkins responded to their park behind a church in camden last month. there he found a woman in labor and the baby wasn't waiting. fortunately watkins is also a trained emergency medical technician. >> it was a little surreal but like i said again i was pretty much thinking and, you know, in employees mode i wanted to make you are the infant was okay. i was wanted to make sure the baby's airway was fine. the father was still holding the infant while i was trying to secure the baby's airway. >> both mother and baby were rushed to cooper university hospital and we're told they're doing just fine. >> well, 13 people were hurt tonight when a car collided with a trolley in kingsessing. the trolley was westbound on woodland avenue. there were 11 people in the trolley and two people in a car that had to be taken to hup
