commissioner kingsley: thank you for your report. my questions are primarily directed towards the lep questions that officer ha presented to us. i see that there are five languages that have been identified as being the five languages which most of the activity is being directed towards. there is a chart on page one. french is not among the five languages but it is shown as the fourth most frequent language needed. what attention is being given to that statistical anomaly, perhaps, or disconnect? >> if you look at question no. three, which identify the airport bureau that accounts for almost 90% of the total reported. from the numbers, it appears that, more likely, there are tourists and french rank no. 4. more likely they are tourists and not residents. therefore, that is why we came to the conclusion that french is most likely identified as being no. 4. not residents but the bulk of the french-speaking people that the officers come into contact with were actually tourists who were coming through san francisco international airport.

president mazzucco: commissioner kingsley? commissioner kingsley: i think that should be part of the discussion, both of them together. what we are trying to do is get our arms around what are the fixed obligations of the commission and putting that into our schedule as well as the variable. i put mine on that. president mazzucco: any comment on these items? >> i have something to do about those cleaning up the backlog, and jim hammer who sat right there. these people were frontline. jim hamer was the one. if you remember, mr. president, he had the one to streamline it. these people are not here now. they moved onto other things, but they deserve some credit, as well. president mazzucco: i agree? any public comment on any of these line items? i bet you want to talk about patrol specials? ok. >> i just want to follow up with some items with chief suhr. >> i talked with you the day after i was arrested. again. it turned out to be a false arrest. you have now had over 60 weeks. criminal acts that they have perpetrated. this is wh

commissioner kingsley? commissioner kingsley: were identified earlier when we were discussing this what we were going to do with the next meeting in terms of revision. i feel like we may not have gotten a clear picture on everything that we want presented in january in order to take a vote at that time. so, one of two things. either next rec or the interim, we come up with that information -- next week or in the interim, we come up with that information or in january, that meeting is not going to be a vote but gets us a step closer so that we can formulate more of the questions that we need to have answered in order to make a decision. if that makes sense. some of the questions that were coming up, ok, what would be the possible uses if it were sold for profit? another would-be trying to get arms around the size of the property. could there be an attached contingency that a portion be rented out for nonprofit use, even if it were sold for profit? there are so many possibilities, i am not sure unless we are
