garret kinney is live in chicago with more. incredibly bizarre story. how did it come together?e say the girls became fascinated by that mythical demon-like creature after spending time on a website featuring horror stories as well as urban legends. the girls believed that this creature, this character, was real and that if they killed their friend, they would prove their loyalty to him. so investigators say while the three girls were playing a game of hide-and-seek at a local parks, one of the attackers tackled the victim while the other 12-year-old stabbed her repeatedly, 19 times. after being arrested, one of the girls told cops, quote, it was weird that i didn't feel remorse, end quote. police are still investigating the case. but they say there's a lesson here for families everywhere. >> unmonitored and unrestricted access to the internet by children is a growing and alarming problem. this should be a wake-up call for parents. parents are strongly encouraged to restrict and monitor their children's internet usage. >> remarkably the 12-year-old in this case is in stable cond
