in kinston, 26.9, and major flood is at 21 feet. it's likely to be in major flood stage through wednesday, and possibly looking at flood stage all the way to the weekend. rdu sky cam looking great this morning, 59 degrees currently and our dew point visibilities are looking fine. we were thinking we could see a little patchy fog but haven't seen any of that, so looks like we could be in the clear on that. it's a very mild mog, temperatures on the rise because of the approximation of this high pressure system. high pressure systems have been keeping us dry since matthew atlantic and as we head through the afternoon, highs in the low 80s in many locations. overnight we're in the upper 50s to low to mid-60s, then tomorrow afternoon, 80 by lunchtime. we hit wednesday, looking at 86 degrees. that will be nearly a record. the record is 87 and 72 is normal for this time of year. getting into could have some patchy light rain. a cold front will come through and cool off temperatures, and really only bring us a small chance of rain on friday
