i'm kira klapper. anthony slaughter has a look at the forecast. >> that shot was so heavenly. >> i feel like i say things like that a lot and might sound like a broken record. >> it's the beauty of weather. we're waking up to clouds and some rain start ing ing to fall. even the north bay starting to see some showers. this is the beginning of the next round of rain. you can see looking at some very heavy rain this morning. and that's all going to slide south. the north bay you'll see the showers first. we're expecting to see the heavier rain move in. we're looking a the mostly cloudy skies. even in san francisco some drizzle. lunchtime for san francisco in the north bay, you'll see the rain. then this afternoon once the sun goes down, that's expected to continue overnight and into tomorrow. that's why we have flash flood watches posted for the north bay. all the concerns we're expecting to see the river levels rising. even the potential for some warmer weather and some 70s. >> keeping us on our toes. th

i'm kira klapper.y slaughter has a look at the forecast. we have a break in the rain right now. but it won't last long. >> we talked about how bright it is. daylight saving time happens. so it will be dark tomorrow. enjoy it while you got it this morning. we're waking up to sunshine in the bay area. most of the sunshine is south of san francisco because we have another storm system that's set to arrive and that's going to move in today. showers will start in the north bay around lunchtime. same for san francisco. this afternoon once the sun goes down, the east bay will start to see showers. the rain is going to be with us through tonight into tomorrow morning. so when we meet back here tomorrow, it will be raining and will have rained for 12 hours across the north bay. that flash flood watch still in effect for the north bay. we'll talk about the details as we move through 7:00 coming up this morning. >> we'll have to stay tuned for that, thanks. >>> new this morning, a deadly shooting in the south bay
