i'm kira klapper. vianey arana is here with a look at our microclimate forecast, a scene of the microclimate forecast, the sun shining in san jose and yet we see rain and drizzle on the golden gate bridge right now. >> overcast, breezy to windy conditions if you're anywhere near the golden gate bridge, probably driving through that within the next half hour, but it is scattered and spotty. periods of rain here and there and it kind of calms down, tapers off and kicks up again, but these temperatures are not too bad. south bay, scattered clouds, peaks of sunshine. 52 degrees. the pa nins wil seeing overcast skies and a little bit of that scattered rain as well as 40 degrees at tri-valley 53 degrees and san francisco at 54 degrees and north bay, 53 degrees. take a quick check of that doppler radar. here it is. you can still see a lot of that green on that map, and those are the areas that are seeing it as of now. half moon bay, san francisco seeing a little bit of scattered showers, and also near the san

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast. it could stop overflowing, because we have a small break in the rain. >> and although we are tracking a smaller storm system based on the numbers we've been crunching all morning long, it looks like we have the chance of seeing the spillway finally stop as of this evening. right now it's at about 101% in terms of capacity. still definitely over capacity, but as we continue to see these scattered showers through the early morning hours, it's not going to be a significant amount of rainfall, which means, thankfully, we aren't expecting to see too much rain and we should be drying out as the incoming week is also on the way. we are seeing 40s. if you're waking up right now, pour yourself a nice cup of coffee, because it's still chilly out there and it's going to stay pretty chilly throughout your early morning. but we will be climbing into the 50s. take a live look right now at that doppler radar, you can see those spotty scattered showers. they'll be more focused through the coastline.

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at that break in the rain with our microclimate forecast. >> yes. we are still under a microclimate weather alert, mainly because any little bit of rain can make slick road conditions and we've already seen so much rain with the reservoirs and lake levels we still want to keep a close eye. in oakland, seeing a few scattered showers. 53 degrees. the storm system is expected to finally make its exit east within the next couple of hours giving you a nice break. kira mentioned, to enjoy outside. probably still muddy out there. temps not bad either. waking up to 50s across the area. san jose 52. we are still seeing breezy to windy conditions as well, and here's a live look now at that doppler radar. we can actually see that storm system kind of breaking apart moving east, and still with it leaving those scattered showers and we are expecting the scattered showers to stick around through the early morning hours before it finally makes its exit. you can see, los gatos

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast and no rain. >> it's about time. >> it's about time. >> i brought this dry weather. >> thank you. >> and it's going to stick around through tonight and hopefully into sunday as well. here's a current look right now at san francisco. now, this was a much different picture the past couple of days. we've been seeing winds, rain, just really muggy conditions. 49 degrees right now, and the current temps, not too cold in the 40s overall. half moon bay, 56 degrees. san francisco also in the 40s and palo alto and san jose also in those 40s. if you're just now waking up, you're still going to want a nice jacket but not going to need rain boots or your umbrella, because today's forecast calls for a mixture of sun and clouds. and look at those temps. climbing into the 50s, and the 60s for parts of the north bay and also the south bay. so it's definitely going to be a great day to enjoy the outdoors. >> definitely. and just in time for the week
