i'm kira klapper in for vickie nguyen. you say it will be even cooler than yesterday. >> a few degrees cooler than yesterday so i think we're on the right track. look right now, the peninsula 61 degrees. the south bay 61. if you notice we're still waking up to some fairly warmer/cool temps in some areas. it will feel sticky out there, humid. the east bay at 60 degrees. san francisco 55. the north bay 56. and it's all thanks to this nice deepening marine layer and we've been seeing this for the past few nights and we'll continue to see it which is actually a lot more seasonable for this time of year for the bay area. as that deepen iing marine laye keeps in, that will keep areas nice and cool for the next several days and we can expect to see the temperature trend climbing into the 60s yet again and very similar to yesterday where we started off very cloudy but in san francisco we did end up seeing some broken sunshine and then it cleared out quite nicely just in time for all of the pride events. you had a blast yesterday.

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our forecast.f it already looks good at 7:30 in the morning it's going to be a good day. >> today, sunday one of my favorite days of the week. i think that's definitely a great way to start, and even better is the fact we're still going to be enjoying slightly cooler temps. thought too hot out there. live look over half moon bay. still seeing a couple clouds but it makes for a beautiful sight. 54 degrees right now. temps all throughout the bay area remain in the 50s. ocean beach right now at 55 degrees. pacifica also in the 50s. and really 50s all around. down near the south bay we are seeing a little more of a warmup upper 50s, and we will be climbing into those 70s and then 80s for some inland areas, but today will be the last die to? joy cooler temperatures because we have a bit of an onshore flow. showing patchy fog, but not as dense. the temperature trend right now shows an increase into the 60s. 63 degrees by 11:00 a.m. and it should top out in the upper 60s, maybe even at about 65 66 by mida

i'm kris sanchez in for kira klapper.ana is here looking at the micro climate weather alert. >> maybe looking at those palm trees will help it feel a little bit cooler. because it's going to be hot especially for inland areas which is why we did issue the micro climate weather alert. dangerous heat advisories will take effect at 11:00 a.m. today. but even then we're heating up quickly. i have a feeling ocean beach will be packed because along the coast is where we'll see the coolest of the temps compared to the 90s and triple digits. ocean beach 50, inland areas in the 60s and concord already at 72 degrees. concord is expected to be one of the hottest today hitting a predicted high of 103 degrees. the main reason for why we're seeing all of this dangerous heat in the beginning of this heat wave is we've got that high pressure building in and we've got a lot of hot air coming in from the desert southwest. and that's going to keep things nice and dry and nice and hot, which, of course, also creates fire danger. if anybody's

thanks for joining us i'm kira klapper and jovianey arana has look at our forecast. >> we are cooler.and that marine nice air will keep us cool and bringing in the cooldown for the bay area. very welcomed after a big heat wave last week. it was hot. and here is half moon bay. could you see some of the cloud cover over there with the fog. and then just a little bit of a comparison, look at mt. hamilton so a nice difference in the microclimate. the fog along the coast and further inland nicer clear skies. but the temperatures show the marine layer. this will keep the majority nice and cool. even if you are not seeing clouds in your area, current temperatures in the coast, 50s and then inland in the 60s. temperature trend is climbing yet again into the upper 70s and 80s. and yes, even 90s in some spots. but at least it is not going to be as hot. so let's give you a quick preview of today's temperature trend if you are heading out to san francisco pride. comfortable temperatures will remain a trend throughout the day. along with those clouds. so yes, expect to keep over cast skies kind of

i'm kris sanchez in for kira klapper.nly will it be hot, but it will be hot for a while. >> yeah, it's going to be hot for a biwhile. we start with the heat wave. and we have high pressure building in and that will keep the temperatures in place. right now the south bay already at 64 degrees. and we've been in the 60s since the 5:00 a.m. hour. peninsula 63 degrees. today will be a great day to get away and head to the beaches along the coastline. that's where we're going to see 60s and 70s, but inland areas, there goes that dangerous heat. we're seeing the high pressure building in. and so far even though the official start of summer isn't until june 20th, we're already feeling that heat and we're expected to see the warmest weather since then. and we will be climbing into the triple digits for inland areas. so definitely something to keep in mind which is why that heat advisory will take effect at 11:00 a.m. today and remain in effect through monday. but we're not e
