i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast. another good day? >> yeah. warm weather is sticking around for your saturday and also dry conditions. we've got this nice warming and drying trend that kind of took over at the beginning of the middle of the week but right now, san francisco, 51 degrees, and we're starting to see a couple of clouds out there, but overall, expect mostly clear skies into the afternoon. temperatures in the south bay also in the 50s. hayward at 50 degrees and if you notice, even though we're in the 40s and 50s, we will be jumping into some upper 70s and some 80s for today across, especially, the interior valleys. now, san jose's temperature trend, if you notice by 10:00 a.m., will be jumping into the 60s and then quickly by 1:00, right around your lunch hour, will be jumping into the mid 70s. san jose is expected to top out in the 80s. i'll talk about how long this warming trend is expected to last coming up. >> we'll stay tuned. thanks. >>> this morning, berkeley police are looking for a man with a gun w

. >> i'm kira klapper. we have live team coverage for you this morning. we begin with meteorologist rob mayeda. he has a closer look at what's happening right now. >> right now we are beginning to see the significant rain move away from the bay area and pushing out. as you can see right now, the flood watches are still up for the santa cruz mountains in the north bay and a flood advisory around marin county has been dropped. we will continue to see the watches likely dropping, likely within the next two hours or so. san francisco, you have fog. the rain for the most part has moved out. in san jose, still seeing rain showers now. moving away from downtown as our storm ranger mobile doppler radar shows a significant clearing line now from downtown san jose west over towards palo alto. san francisco, oakland, patchy fog. but again, the main rain event, starting to move out of the bay area. so as we look at this hour by hour, we are seeing this clearing develop as which go through the afternoon. but check out that low around the pacific coast. and 60 to 70 mi

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast.t really is a microclimate this morning because it's not that pretty south of the city. >> a couple of spots are still seeing cloud cover. have no fear, that should clear out nicely, especially into the afternoon. you'll get a chance to go outside. doppler radar right now, you see we've got some of the showers far off to the north now. leading toward the medford areas, oregon seeing showers, ukaia seeing spotty showers. the rain chances will diminish into the afternoon. you can see we have cloud cover along woodside. 54 degrees. the temperatures in the upper 40s and 50s as you head out the door. keep in mind that we are tracking seasonally cool temperatures. the temperatures will be topping out in the 50s along the coast and 60s inland. in san jose, the temperature trend climbs nicely into the upper 60s. how long will these cooler temperatures last, and when can we expect to see a warmup? i'll have the answer coming up in about 15 minutes. >> i got a sneak preview of that. it looks goo

i'm kira klapper.ney has a look at the microclimate forecast. >> i know a lot of people yesterday were sending me tweets asking if it was going to rain in san jose and i said no. but we're still tracking some instability out there which means we have the chance to see isolated showers and for example, very cloudy at 54 degrees and we're seeing a system sitting in oregon right now but there is shower activity just south of that. mainly in the north bay and along the coast. we might see a couple of incidents if any of isolated showers through the afternoon and we're expecting similar conditions in terms of our temperatures for today. right now 40s and 50s, 54 degrees in san francisco and also in the 50s and we've gone 40s on the map including morgue ab hill at 57. we're seeing areas of fog and you saw the live shot of woodside. along the coast in the north bay, also seeing some fog. just remember to slow it down. do not turn on your high beams. >> yeah. >> not what you want to do during fog. doppler rada

i'm kira klapper.ney arana a look at our microclimate forecast and just that little look we got there was promising for a beautiful weekend. >>> you know, we couldn't have asked for better weather for comcast cares day because i know there's going to be a ton of volunteers out there, including us. i'll be down near the middle school as well for today. look at comcast cares day temperature trend. talk about perfect weather conditions, but also you're going to need the sunscreen. don't leave the house without your sunscreen because by about 11:00 a.m. we'll be in the upper 60s and then by 3:00, we'll be hitting the 80-degree mark so definitely going to be a warm but sunny day, great day to paint, plant trees, all the amazing things that the volunteers do across the board to really benefit some of these schools and help out the community. you know, it's a good day for that. south bay, 49 degrees right now, peninsula, 50 degrees, tri-valley, 45, san francisco, also in the 40s. and overall, we will maintain
