i'm kira klapper. we have look at the micro climate forecast. >> it is a little on the cool side for the coast right now. it's expected to be breezy and windy for the coast and the hilltop areas. that's going to affect a little bit how your day goes in terms of temperatures. however, we are seeing a slight cooldown it's still going to be hot. south bay 64. it's nice and mild. trivalley, 64. in the north bay we are still seeing a little bit of haze as they are closer to the wildfires that are actively burning. 56 degrees. as far as the air quality goes we are no longer under a spare the air alert. but be mindful if you are near any of the active wildfire zones. east bay, 58 degrees. we are expected to catch a little bit of the fog. you can see the marine layer building along the golden gate bridge. that's going to help also with the air quality. if you are going to be outside along the coast today you are going to have to be more worried whether it is going to be cold or not because the conditions will

i'm kira klapper. we have look at themate forecast. it looks better than it did this time last weekend. >> it does. mostly clear skies expect today. and it is setting us up for a bit of a cooling end from of we are expecting cooling temperatures but it is still going to be warm outside. this morning we have a wide range of temperatures. some 50s, mid 50s, upper 50s in san francisco. and some 60s on the map. san jose 63 degrees. the temperatures are comfortable. along the coast we are expecting a marine layer to build throughout the day. that's going to keep the coastline nice and cool. further inland, near livermore, the concord area, even in the south bay the temperatures will climb into the upper 80s. and some 90s on the map. as far as the 24-hour temperature change, the cooling trend will kick in more or less for tomorrow. it will be more significant. today, though, the temperatures will be comfortable but still on the warm side. i will have a breakdown of the forecast coming up at 7:00 a.m. >>> evacuation orders have

and i )m kira klapper in for laura garcia. >>> good morning. it's the last day of august. if you look outside it doesn't look like it. pretty thick marine layer. we have a look at your micro climate forecast. >> i guess it is only right since august is about to come to an end. downtown san jose we don't have a thick marine layer here. once again similar weather pattern. by 12:00 things will start warming up. san jose temperature will climb into the 80s. we are starting a bit of a warming trend just in time for the weekend. is there a friday light commute going on? >> not just friday light, but everybody look. no back up. no metering lights. preholiday friday, an early kplut very very light. you start thinking about midday late morning. we'll skip around town and go in towards the office and head out for the north bay. a little slowing shows up. we'll see how it shapes up. this is highway 37. not really a problem as we look at the shots earlier this morning. there is still a slower drive. this crash causing a problem as more going off of 84 and 680. back to you. >> all righ
