i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast. >> and you probably noticed outside it looks like its a little cool, it kind of is. we're in the 50s and we are expecting to keep these slightly cooler temperatures still on tap for this weekend. if you've been enjoying these 70s there's plenty more where that came from. dublin is one of those interior valleys that gets warmer. we are expecting some low 80s for some interior valleys but for the most part 70s will be dominating as we head into your saturday forecast. san jose 55 degrees, winds at about 5 miles per hour. another thing you'll notice especially along the coastline and peninsula will be breezy conditions. the temperatures will remain in the 60s. this cooling trend is expected to linger and stick around with mostly clear skies into the afternoon and then just looking far out ahead we are tracking a bit of a warmup once again with the cooling trend. i'll have an update on your day time highs and the coolest and an update

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at our microclimate forecast. today is the first full day of fall. >> first full day but the temperatures will be slightly warm so that's okay, though, because it sets us up for a change up ahead you may or may not like. san francisco you could see there's a nice fog layer there. the marine layer we have about 1,000 feet so it's a little bit more shallow than the dense fog we saw yesterday that made its way further inland. current temperatures nice and cool. look at pa row alto, 49 degrees to start off. so we're really starting to get into the weather pattern where it starts off chilly but by midafternoon you're shedding off all the layers because it starts to warm up. we were tracking slightly cooler temperatures but we'll stay warmer than we thought. we'll remain in the 80s for san jose, interior valleys are going to climb into the mid 80s and as far as the coast, well, 50s and 60s i'll break down your fall weather for this week or not coming up in 15 minutes

i'm kira klapper. we have your forecast this morning. >> nice and clear. you're beautiful. you know what that means, clear skies means cooler temperatures because we don't have the clouds trapping in any heat, that in return gives us slightly cooler temperatures, probably a little bit chilly in san francisco this morning. they're probably used to it by now. as we head into the next couple of hours, one thing you're going to notice is an increase in temperatures in the afternoon but i want to show you the temperature difference because we have no cloud cover right now. napa 12 degrees cooler than we were 24 hours ago. once again we're expecting to see below seasonable temperatures. daytime highs into the 60s for the coast and the bay and we have some 70s and 80s on the map. 55 degrees in san francisco but mountain view 48, palo alto 47 so definitely seeing the temperature difference in terms of the lack of cloud cover. the next couple of hours san jose will trend into the 70s by 1:00, 72 degrees but it will stay in the 70s. notice we have sunshine across the board so i'll br
