i'm kira klapper.meteorologist rob mayeda is in for vianey with a look at our microclimate forecast. some scary conditions out there. >> yes, interesting observation from san bruno mountain, it is breezy up there. you saw the bay itself, relatively mirror-like. not a lot of wind at sea level, but for the hilltops of the north bay above a thousand feet, red flag warnings through at least 10:00 this morning and one of the side effects of that is the dry offshore winds. half moon bay at 66 degrees this morning, a sign you have the offshore breezes. san francisco 59 and likely mid 80s this afternoon. not just for san francisco, but look at upper 80s down toward santa cruz and san jose. warmest spots inland today near 90 degrees. tomorrow we'll see less wind, slight cooling around san francisco and the coast, as we await the next round of gusty winds, which will likely arrive for wednesday and thursday and for the valleys tomorrow a little less wind. we could see a slight uptick in temperatures tomorrow, tr

i'm laura garcia. >> and i'm kira klapper. we want to get you to the latest. many centers are to capacity right now. two main evacuation centers you can head to. the marin county fair grounds will open at 8:00 to accommodate evac yeets. it's at 10 and avenue of the flags in san rafael. it's not open until 8:00. but in the next hour you're okay to line up and wait for the gates and doors to open. also the sonoma county fair grounds is accepting evacuees. the petaluma community center and fair grounds, the reason we're still mentioning to them, they're good meeting places. you can meet with people there and then evacuate together. the finley community center was an evacuation center and it has now been evacuated itself. again, if you need a place to stay, yourptions in the north bay are currently the marin county fair grounds and the sonoma county fair grounds. >> here's a look at the evacuation map you can see. look how wide it is. people should be ready to leave. in fact n many parts of sonoma county extends as far as mt. stch

i'm kira klapper. vianey arana has a look at the microclimate forecast. pretty clear out there but it is chilly. >> it's a little chilly. but don't be afraid if you start to notice the cloud cover start to roll in. it was starting out a little clear, and high clouds will eventually change now. and 50 degrees currently in san jose. also, we will be seeing some fog building along the coastline, at some point, patchy fog. the main reason for that is san francisco is because of this storm system that is just off to the north. but we were talking about chilly and look at some spots down to the low 40s. an rosa 44, and santa cruz 46 and here is the satellite radar, and zooming in a little closer, to give you an idea of the cloud cover that will start rolling in, and you notice the rain pretty far off to the north near the reading area, and you can see the chance of some drizzle for san francisco and the north bay. if you get caught up in some drizzle, don't be afraid. it is not major rain. we're not talking about crazy accumulations or anything. san jose temper

i'm kira klapper. we are under a microclimate weather alert. vianey arana is here to explain. high winds, and fire danger. >> that's what we're monitoring, and even though at the 7:00 a.m. hour, we're not necessarily seeing winds. look at the skies. this is all because of the smoke. it makes for a beautiful sight. but keep in mind that that air quality is very unhealthy right now, and it will continue to be that way as the smoke continues to drift from the nearby fires and with the change in the wind coming in tonight, that is also going to impact the air quality as well. 55 degrees right now, in san jose. and into the next couple of hours, it will be a cooler afternoon, for the temperatures cooler than yesterday, but the thing that we're monitoring the most, is going to be, here goes the air quality, north bay, all the way down to the south bay, so you look at the color key there, that index lets you know that the orange falls in the range of 101 to 150, it is unhealthy air quality range. and it will
