bill deblasio and julian castro and cory booker and beto o'rourke and amy klobachar and jay inslee and john delaney. what are you hearing on the ground and how are candidates getting ready for the big migni? >> reporter: the prep is done. candidates are in the period where they are ready to take the stage. they actually been putting policy into real life application. elizabeth warren this morning visiting the homestead facility outside of miami. amy is going to be going there in a few hours giving this em a chance to highlight the crisis that's dominating the headline right now. it gives us a good sense of what we are hearing from the debate stage. there is an expectation that this is a first time that voters will hear directly from them in terms of folks who may not be in those primary states or may not tune into the 2020 race. both of these campaigns and several others are looking to jam as much as their biography and their speech in. i imagine from amy klobachar, she released this plan for her first 100 days that includes more than 100 policy points she wants to get into. for elizab

i agree with steve on beto o'rourke and cory booker, i would put senator klobachar in that group.a lot of different ways they had different trajectories. beto o'rourke came in and has gone down. that's a difficult thing to do to bounce backup for what cory booker is facing, for example and similarly found with cloer ch klobach klobachar. this is an opportunity for them to one way or another to make a mark and breakthrough and somehow get some attention that moves them into the conversation. 20 plus candidates is more than everybody can handle. >> they got to get enough attention that they can start generating some money online contributions because they need to prove by the end of the quarter that they're going to qualify for the upcoming debates to come. >> yes, realistically, we can assume some of the can dates we are going to see on these two nights in miami will not be around in the early fall and certainly in the late fall. there will be attrition, money is going to run out and the opportunity of debates are going to be denied. they're not going to have any opportunity to mov
