i think there are a few things about amy klobuchar that i like.n minnesota. she ran for senate this past time around, she won by a larger margin percentage point eyes than liz warren won in massachusetts. minnesota is more towards the center of the electorate than massachusetts is. clearly amy klobuchar is doing something very right in the eyes of the midwest voters. she did a very good job during the last supreme court nomination hearings with brett kavanaugh, so that was very key, and i think she plays in some way. if you talk to some people in washington they are skeptical of this. i was talking to one of our colleagues he said she should be all the way down at ten. she's playing well with voters and that i think is what's most important. >> speaking of someone who is a ten, beto o'rourke is at ten. >> let's take a look at the second part of our list. we see bernie sanders who ran last time around, newel yan castro, steve bullock, sherrod brown who won reelection midwest and beto o'rourke who is at number ten. there are going to be people runni

klobuchar: mr. president, i first wanted to comment on the importance of an agreement on the farm bill. this is something that has been long in coming. i want to thank chairman roberts and ranking member stabenow for their work, as well as the members in the house, including my colleague from minnesota, republican leader collin peterson, who will be taking over the ag committee in the house next year. this is a bill that is so important to rural america and in my state. we have seen low commodity prices for too long, and as a member of the ag committee, i know that the last farm bill has some really good things for a strong safety net. but this farm bill will allow us to make some changes to the way the data is collected which will be helpful for our farmers with farm insurance. we've got some improvements in dairy. we have got some good work that is going on with regard to conservation and some changes there. and as you know, our senate bill got 86 votes. we don't even get that for a volleyball res
