a big part has been asking big-name democrats, obama, warren, harris, klobuchar, we're told biden at tell people, get out to vote. this is important. that has nationalized this race. newsom has been talking about the impacts this could have nationally. and his primary republican opponent larry elder has also talked about the impact that him becoming governor of california, a blue state, what that could mean to the republican party. so the big thing for both of them is figuring out whether this nationalization strategy works and right now, as you can see by the numbers, it seems to be helping the newsom campaign. >> well, it seems to be. if you need anymore proof, i would say here it is right here. larry elder and donald trump saying repeat of the big lie, if you will. listen. >> i believe that there might very well be shenanigans as there were in the 2020 election. >> the one thing they're good at is rigging elections. i predict it's a rigged election. let's see how it turns out. >> nothing to support either mr. elder or trump. >> elder has said he has lawyers standing by. the newsom

. >> another big story we're following tonight minnesota democratic senator amy klobuchar revealing she was diagnosed and treated for cancer earlier this year. she says it was stage one a cancer about the size of a grape. it was found during a routine mammogram in february. the senator says she later had surgery to remove the cancer and finished radiation treatment this past may klobuchar adding that doctors told her the treatment went well and the chances of the cancer developing again are no greater than that of the average person. she urged americans not to delay physicals and routine examinations during the pandemic. >> either get the vaccine or risk not getting paid. that is the message. now from united airlines. is it changes its vaccine guidelines for employees workersowho are granted to the vaccine mandate for religious reasons are going to be placed on temporary unpaid leave starting in october last month. united announced the vaccine mandate. but stated it would consider religious and medical exemptions. the company is citing an uptick in cases as a reason for that decision. >
